Wenonah Canoe

All Wenonah Canoes are handcrafted in a manufacturing facility on the banks of the Mississippi River in Minnesota. As a teenager, Mike Cichanowski (Wenonah Founder) built canoes as a hobby, now 50 years later, he is still in the business. In honor of We-no-nah who perished for devotion to DuLuth, the canoes that bear her storied name must be equal to the incredible voyage that he mastered. Winona, Minnesota is named for the maiden and is the home of Wenonah Canoe.
