Snow Peak

A Japanese WWII vet, Yukio Yamai, found solace climbing Mt. Tanigawa after the war. He was dissatisfied with the gear that he had access to, so he made a change – and Snow Peak was created. ‘I started a camping brand because I enjoyed camping with my friends, but along the way, I realized we were healing humanity.’ 60 years later, it is still owned by the same nature loving family.
